I can admit I’m guilty of eating out whenever I get really busy and don’t have time to cook. It’s an easy option to choose and many people don’t realize how many calories are in some of the meals on the menu. Eating out can be a social event and I know it’s hard for me to say no if a friend asks me to go eat out. Here’s some tips for eating out and how to be able to still enjoy your social time if you’re going to eat out: 1. Divide your meal in half and save the rest for later or share a meal with someone 2. Look at the calories on the menu before you order 3. On your way to the restaurant look up the calories 4. Get a to go box before your meal 5. Instead of getting a side of fries maybe switch it with a healthier alternative like veggies or fruit 6. Just get the entree 7. Some restaurants have a lower calorie option on their menu so choose a meal from that 8. Avoid the word fried
